Believe it or not, this whole photography thing started in my kitchen with a food and cocktail blog. I bought my first digital camera to photograph my creations, and quickly found myself photographing everything around me—fun shadows, weird shapes, ordinary vignettes in unique light. Eventually I began working in digital marketing and PR, where I learned how to unlock the power of imagery for business, and started shooting local theater productions in my spare time. Today, with over a decade of diverse experience behind the lens, I’m just as excited about taking photos as I was that first day in my messy kitchen.
